Strong Spirit Strong Mind Metro Project Campaign

On Sunday 5 August, the Minister for Mental Health, launched the Strong Spirit Strong Mind Metro Project Campaign. The new media campaign aims to prevent and/or delay the early uptake of alcohol and other drugs by young Aboriginal people in the Perth metropolitan area.

The key messages of the campaign are that alcohol and drugs can result in you doing things you may regret, can get you into trouble with the law and where you can find out more information or get support.

The message has been informed through a consultation process with Aboriginal youth groups and agencies in the Perth metropolitan area.

This message will be conveyed through targeted cinema and radio ads and will run in three phases over the next 12 months.
