Drug and Alcohol Office of Western Australia Library
The Drug and Alcohol Office library has a wide range of books, journals, reports, Acts of Parliament, and audio-visual resources on all aspects of alcohol and other drug related issues. Members of the public, higher secondary and tertiary students are welcome to use the library for reference purposes by appointment only. Photocopying and reading room facilities are available. Please note- literature search facilities are not available and you are encouraged to use your own library prior to visiting the DAO library. Quit WA
Since 1983 Quit WA has used a broad range of strategies to reduce harm associated with tobacco use and exposure. Strategies include mass media campaigns, legislation, quitting support, school & public education, promotion and sponsorship, support for smoke-free policies, collaboration across sectors, and research & evaluation. Fogarty Foundation Youth Leadership Program (FFYLP)
The Western Australian Fogarty Foundation Youth Leadership Program is a joint venture between the Fogarty Foundation and Local Drug Action Groups Inc. The program seeks to identify potential young leaders to act as positive role modes within local communities and to equip these young people with the skills to develop and implement drug free programs for young people.

Illicit Amphetamine Summit 2007 
The Director General of Health and the Commissioner of Police sponsored and co-chaired the WA Illicit Amphetamine Summit held in Perth on 3 July 2007. National Cannabis Strategy 2006-2009 
This Strategy is based on consultations with key stakeholders around Australia and informed by existing cannabis literature and evidence.
